Iver launches Iver Sovereign AI for organisations with high demands on data protection, regulatory compliance and digital sovereignty. By combining European AI infrastructure, advisory services and managed services, organisations receive support in developing, deploying and operating AI solutions with greater control over data, infrastructure and operations.
As AI becomes part of organisations' critical business processes, the need for control over data, infrastructure and technological dependencies increases. For organisations with high demands on data protection and regulatory compliance, it is therefore essential to be able to control where and how AI solutions are developed and operated, what data they can access and how they are managed in production.
With Iver Sovereign AI, organisations gain a European foundation for developing and using AI, combined with support for secure operations and ongoing management. The offering is aimed at organisations that handle sensitive information, want to reduce their dependence on individual technology providers or want to use AI agents in sensitive and business-critical processes.
“Many organisations have demonstrated that AI works in pilot projects, but taking the next step into core business processes places entirely different demands on the organisation. It becomes important to maintain control over where data is handled, how solutions are operated and which technological dependencies are being built. With Iver Sovereign AI, we want to give our customers the means to take this step through European AI infrastructure and specialist expertise in advisory services, development and management,” says Mattias Persson, CTO at Iver.
By combining Cleura's European cloud infrastructure with Accelerate's specialist expertise in AI advisory and development, as well as Iver's managed IT services, customers receive support throughout the entire process – from identifying relevant use cases and developing AI solutions to operating and managing them over time. This gives organisations better conditions for using AI according to their needs, while maintaining control over data, infrastructure and operations.
“AI will influence how businesses develop and compete in the years ahead. Organisations therefore need to consider not only what they can do with AI today, but also how they can retain the ability to make their own decisions about technology, data and development over time. At its core, digital sovereignty is about preserving freedom of choice in a time of rapid technological change,” says Pär Fors, CEO of Iver.
