Iver Group appoints Pär Fors as new CEO to accelerate growth and strengthen the position as a Nordic leading provider of next-generation cloud and infrastructure services. He joins Iver at an important phase in the company’s journey, as demand for secure, resilient, and sovereign digital infrastructure accelerates.

Iver provides mission-critical IT infrastructure services across the Nordics. With offerings in cloud services, cybersecurity and AI-enabled infrastructure, Iver is well-positioned to meet the high demand for secure and resilient European technology services. The company’s hybrid cloud strategy combines strategic partnerships with global technology leaders such as Microsoft and Broadcom with its own European cloud platform, Cleura. This enables Iver’s customers to balance innovation and flexibility with compliance and data sovereignty needs.

At a critical inflection point in the company’s development, Iver's key priority will be to further scale its hybrid cloud platform and expand its sovereign, compliance-driven services for customers with stringent regulatory, data-residency, and security requirements.

“Our customers today operate in an increasingly complex environment, where data sovereignty, regulatory requirements and cyber threats are reshaping IT priorities. Iver has built a strong position in areas that are becoming mission-critical, particularly within European sovereign cloud and secure infrastructure. The appointment of Pär Fors will further strengthen our ability to execute at scale and capture this opportunity. Pär is a highly experienced and results-driven leader with a proven ability to build high-performing, customer-centric organisations, says Bertrand Barthelemy, Chairman of the Board of Iver.

“I am excited to join Iver at this stage of its journey. The shift towards European digital sovereignty is accelerating, and organisations increasingly require cloud and infrastructure solutions that combine performance with full control over data and compliance. Iver has already established a market leading offering in this space. Now, our focus is to scale our platform and support more clients in running and modernising their most business-critical applications, including AI workloads, within secure and compliant environments,” says Pär Fors, incoming CEO of Iver.

Pär Fors brings extensive CEO and senior leadership experience. Most recently, he served as CEO of NNIT, a leading provider of IT solutions to life science companies internationally, and to the public and private sectors in Denmark. Prior to that, Pär was CEO of CGI Scandinavia and has held multiple senior roles across Nordic IT services companies. During his tenure at CGI, he played a central role in strengthening the company’s position as a leading partner for large-scale digital transformation, delivering both growth and improved profitability.

As Pär Fors assumes his role as CEO on 1 June 2026, Bertrand Barthelemy will return to focusing solely on his role as Chairman of the Board.
