Pressens Morgontjänst, which distributes newspapers and parcels in the Greater Stockholm area under the Premo brand, has signed an extended agreement with Iver for an enhanced delivery of business-critical IT operations services. The new agreement includes a modernized and more cost-efficient IT environment with strengthened security, high availability, and a clearer delivery scope, tailored to the customer’s current needs.

Pressens Morgontjänst has worked with Iver since 2019. The new agreement marks the first renegotiation and extension of the collaboration, representing an important step in an already established partnership.

Iver’s delivery comprises an end-to-end solution for operating the customer’s business-critical IT environment. The assignment includes full operational responsibility for the server environment hosting business-critical applications, including monitoring, patching, updates, and lifecycle management, with a strong focus on security and availability. The delivery also includes management of the client environment to ensure that workplaces are up to date, managed, and protected.

“We are very pleased to extend our collaboration with Iver. IT is the backbone of our complex operations, and by deepening the partnership, we are securing an IT environment that is scalable, secure, and supports AI-driven ways of working across the business. This gives us the best possible foundation to continue developing our services and delivering high-quality services to our customers,” says Arash Saipoor, CIO at Pressens Morgontjänst.

Ahead of the new agreement period, Iver has modernized and optimized Pressens Morgontjänst’s IT environment based on the needs of the business. This includes adapting the number of servers and updating the server structure to better reflect how the systems are used today.

“For us, it is essential to have an IT partner that understands our business-critical needs and proactively continues to develop the future-proof solutions our operations require. That is why we are choosing to continue with Iver,” says Niclas Ramsin, CEO of Pressens Morgontjänst.

“The fact that Pressens Morgontjänst chooses to renew its collaboration with us is a clear confirmation that we are meeting their expectations and creating value where it matters most to their business. By sizing the IT environment according to actual needs, we can reduce unnecessary costs and increase efficiency, while also strengthening security through end-to-end responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and protection of business-critical systems. With a clearer delivery and high availability, the customer can fully focus on its core business,” says Jim Qvarfordt, SVP SMB, Iver.
