Iver has extended and expanded its agreement with Lyckeby Group. The expanded assignment means that Iver will continue to take end-to-end responsibility for Lyckeby Group’s IT environment and business-critical OT environments, with a focus on high availability, strengthened cybersecurity and continued modernisation. Through a tailored delivery with robust infrastructure, local presence and proactive operations, Iver creates the conditions for stable and secure production, enabling Lyckeby Group to focus on its continued development and core business.
Lyckeby Group is a Swedish industrial group with revenue of more than SEK 3 billion and a strong presence in international markets. The company, which develops potato-based starch and fiber products for food and paper applications as well as spice blends and flavoring products for consumers and the food industry, has been an Iver customer since 2021. During the collaboration, Iver has carried out extensive modernization of the group’s infrastructure, from cabling and fiber to new servers, networks and improved cybersecurity. A central part of the work has been to gradually take greater responsibility for monitoring and operating Lyckeby Group’s OT environments, where stability and operational reliability are critical to production. The new agreement is a multi-year agreement and includes both an extension of existing services and an expansion of the assignment.
The delivery is tailored to Lyckeby Group’s business-critical production environments and includes, among other things, robust and redundant local infrastructure at each production site, local presence during incidents and change work, as well as solutions designed based on established security principles such as CIS Benchmark. Iver also delivers modern workplace services that strengthen control over devices, tools and collaboration environments, with built-in security and support for hybrid work. Iver is also responsible for expanded logging, traceability, continuity planning for disaster recovery, and ongoing updates, patching and capacity planning in close collaboration with Lyckeby Group.
Through the extended and expanded agreement, Lyckeby Group gains a future-proof, modern and secure IT and OT environment with high availability. At the same time, Lyckeby Group can continue to focus on its core business, while Iver takes overall responsibility for technical coordination, operations and proactive development.
“Iver has been an important partner in the modernization of our infrastructure and in our work to strengthen security and availability in our production environments. With the new agreement, we gain a stable and future-proof platform that supports our continued development,” says Christel Petersson, Group IT Manager at Lyckeby Group.
“Lyckeby Group operates in an environment where availability, security and stability are absolutely critical. The expanded trust demonstrates the value of our long-term partnership and our ability to take responsibility for both modern IT environments and complex, business-critical OT environments,” says Carl-Martin Rydenlund, SVP Private Sector at Iver.
