Iver has been awarded Solna City’s contract for the delivery of an IT platform. The agreement encompasses server operations, network services, and digital workplace services, to establish a more integrated, stable, and secure IT environment. This will enhance Solna City’s operations and enable more efficient ways of working while supporting future development. The agreement runs for 48 months from the agreed transition delivery date, with an option for four additional 12-month extensions.
Solna City operates IT services across a hundred locations. The city’s wholly owned subsidiaries, Solna Vatten AB and Råsunda Förstads AB, use the same IT environment and are therefore included in the delivery. The same applies to the city’s operations within schools, preschools, leisure services and care services.
The procurement of the IT platform is a strategically important initiative for Solna City. Through a long-term and close partnership with Iver, the city aims to strengthen operational efficiency, accessibility and information security capabilities, while adopting a proactive approach to technology and future needs.
“We are proud to have earned Solna City’s trust and look forward, in close collaboration, to delivering a modern, secure and reliable IT platform that creates real operational value and strengthens the city’s digital capabilities in the long term. We continue to expand our services to an increasing number of critical public sector operations, where our competence and experience from similar deliveries make a significant difference. Together with Solna City, we will work proactively to create a stable, scalable and future-proof digital workplace that meets both today’s and tomorrow’s needs,” says Juri Osmolovski, VP Public & Healthcare at Iver.
