Bactiguard, a Swedish medtech company with global operations, has selected Iver as its new strategic IT partner to support the company's continued development.
Bactiguard develops and supplies a patented coating technology based on an ultra-thin layer of precious metal that prevents bacteria from attaching and forming biofilm on medical devices. The technology reduces the risk of healthcare-associated infections and is utilized globally in collaboration with leading medical technology companies. The company also offers its own portfolio in Wound Management, which is distributed through partners in several markets. Bactiguard is a new customer for Iver.
When selecting an IT partner, Bactiguard opted for a collaborative approach based on open communication, mutual accountability, and close cooperation, where the customer and partner work together to drive development forward.
The agreement covers a comprehensive delivery of IT services, including service desk, workplace, network, application operation, backup, SQL, and ongoing collaboration. In addition, several security services will be provided. Deliveries will be made from Iver's private cloud platform, Iver Cloud, which is specially adapted for business-critical IT. The cloud platform provides a stable, flexible, and reliable foundation with high availability, performance, and robust redundancy.
